How Amazon made me Scroll Amazon.com For 3 Hours and I was enjoying it



Amazon started showing ads for its Prime Day sale which will go live on July 26, 2021, so thought of finding some great deal I asked my brother to help me find a new smartphone because I thought my old phone is lagging (this is my assumption, not realness).


 
So I started scrolling the amazon website trying to find one after to see if we can find a great deal the moment we did not realize but amazon was tracking us like Facebook by showing us what I would like to have (AKA: My Dream Products Like an Apple Watch and a MacBook Pro) I still kept scrolling for next 3 Hours not realizing that amazon made itself a NETFLIX of shopping, where there is an endless list of content you can watch and dream to Have but nothing is real till you Spend some money on it.


Like watching some Love/Drama to learn about love and realize it is just entertainment. Similarly, amazon.com became a Free Entertainment service where you are forced to Dream of Having Everything and simultaneously having nothing.

But how this happened I was never into Shopping Online and I loved going to brick and More Stores to “Get the thing which I needed not the Thing for which I have to create a need”.

Realizing this problem, I started googling to find the answers then I found about a disease created and perfected by Amazon called “THE SHOPPING FEVER”.
The disease is simple you will shop until your pockets are empty. there was an episode on VICTORIOUS where ARIANA GRANDA 





had that Disease where she started buying stupid Stuff because it was a great deal that seemed funny when I was little but now it seems like horror.

Now I started digging even deeper and found about a program called BOUNTY HUNTER
Where people are paid if make other joining amazon prime.




This just seems like a normal Referral program gone wrong where influencers come up with some tricky ideas to make you buy an Amazon Prime subscription and make you feel you have done a great job.

Well it's life "You can only be rich if someone else becomes poor"

Well, this all comes to us being too dependent on the platform to tell who we are (Even I am Not an Exception)

So how do we deal with this or how did I deal with this? Well, I still took that Deal that amazon offered me on a new smartphone.

So, the answer is simple

 “ just try to notice the things around you. if you feel like something is missing and that missing object/ feeling will improve you then get it."


Else just close the got dam App or Website and call come random friend or family member you will forget what you were worried about (I know the answer is not good, but this is a problem which cannot be solved by one person’s opinion it needs some serious discussion to be done).
