Today at WWDC 2020, all new upgrades were announced for macOS, including the ability to download and install iOS and iPadOS apps on upcoming machines featuring ARM SoC architecture. Other macOS improvements include a new translucent based UI element and features that bring iPadOS and macOS even closer together. With each new upgrade, we see incredible, new wallpapers.

Having recently visited Bixby Bridge, I am really excited about this year’s new wallpapers. They are simply stunning. Captured at eight different times during the day, the Big Sur wallpapers will dynamically shift during corresponding real-world local times on the forthcoming macOS upgrade.
Two additional images are the light and dark versions of the colour banded wallpapers that could be seen in various macOS demonstrations during the WWDC 2020 software demonstrations.
